Breakfast

Served between 8.00 a.m. until 9.30 a.m.
depending on season

Please help yourselves from the buffet table for:-

Selection of fruit juices
A large variety of cereals
Grapefruit segments or Prunes
Fresh strawberries when available
Individual fruit salads (summer) or
Selection of fresh fruit from the fruit bowl
Low fat and set yoghurt - varieties as available
Oatmeal porridge cooked to order

Full Scottish Breakfast

Bacon, Fried egg, Pork sausage, tomato, mushrooms,
potato scone, baked beans
Also choose one of the following
Sliced beef Lorne sausage, haggis, black pudding,
fruit pudding, fried bread

Scrambled eggs with or without smoked salmon on toast

Poached eggs on toast

Boiled eggs - cooked to your specification

Brioche, oatcakes, krisprolls, rice cakes

Percolated coffee or decaffinated coffee
Scottish breakfast tea, decaffinated tea
Hot chocolate
Please ask for hot water for the following
Specialist teas & fruit teas, selection available from buffet table

There is a selection of marmalades, jams etc on the buffet table

All special dietary requirements can be accommodated provided that we have advance notice


Where possible local produce is used in breakfast service

In addition there is an Indian restaurant and a Chinese restaurant in Castle Douglas, along with a number of other eateries
