Springfield is located on the A710 coast road from Dumfries to Dalbeattie.
From Dumfries take either the A710 which is a scenic but relatively slow route (35 - 40 minutes from Dumfries)
Alternatively take the A711, signposted Dalbeattie, then at Dalbeattie follow A710 to Colvend
